New 2016 SL Facelift Revealed
The facelift reveals more powerful engines, some technical tweaks and visual revisions for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL.
The changes- the front gets a larger diamond style radiator grille, with LED lights now fitted as standard. The front bumper and bonnet are both refreshed, with larger front air intakes & a more widespread use of chrome.
The range of engines remain mostly unchanged, with the same SL400, SL500, AMG SL63 and AMG SL65 as before. The SL400 has been given a 35bhp boost in power, with the engine now offering 362bhp. The result is a slight improvement to performance, with 0-62mph in 4.9sec.
The SL 500 with 449bhp remains unchanged, as does the 577bhp SL63 version and the 621bhp V12-engined SL65. All now come with the brand new 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission as standard.
